PARIS STITCH

Chain any multiple of 3 (then add 1 for your foundation chain).

Row 1: dc in 4th chain from hook, ch2, sc in same chain as last dc, *skip 2 chain, (2dc, 2ch, sc) in next ch, repeat from * across, turn.

Row 2: ch3, skip 1st sc, (dc, ch2, sc) in 1st ch2 space, * skip (2dc & sc), (2dc, ch2, sc) in next ch2 space, repeat from * to end, turn.

Repeat Row 2.

NOTE:  I started with a chain of 52.  This would be too many chains for a dishcloth (I was making a 12″ afghan square – and I used baby weight yarn.) Just adjust the amount of chains you start with to make it as a dishcloth.

Happy Crocheting!
