Scrap Flower Crochet Pattern

This is a great way to use up some scrap yarn.  You can add a crochet flower to just about anything.

I used a bulky weight yarn, but feel free to use whatever you have.  Use the hook size recommended for that yarn.  With bulky weight yarn and an “N” hook the flower measures approx. 3 3/4″ across.

ch2
Round 1:  10 sc in 2nd chain from hook, slip stitch to 1st sc.

Round 2:  slip stitch in 1st sc, ch2, 2dc in same sc, ch2, slip stitch in same sc, skip next sc, * (slip stith, 2dc, slip stitch) in next sc, skip next sc, repeat from * around. (5 petals)

Fasten off. (I like to leave a long tail of yarn, especially if I’m attaching it to a hat. It make it much easier to attach)

Happy Crocheting!
