Citrus Spray Afghan Square

Update: Please note that I wrote this post long before I knew how to successfully convert UK stitches to US stitches.  I am leaving the pattern up for those in a similar situation, that are just starting out and don’t have the US version or just want a bigger square and are not sure how to extend the pattern.

I altered this square from one of Jan Eaton’s squares in 200 Crochet Blocks, but it was a book from the UK. I tried to convert the stitches, but didn’t use a conversion chart, so this is my version of her square. I think hers was called Sunray, but because of the color and design I’ve named mine Citrus Spray.

Again, I needed it to be twice the size of the pattern itself.  This one was fairly easy to adjust by just continuing the pattern in each round.  Your finished square will be 12″ square.
