Cables & Lace Beanie & Giveaway
This pattern became my ‘baby’ this week. I had to have a dozen testers. Yikes! Because of that fact, as well as the stitches used, it is definately an intermediate pattern. But if you’re like me, you may like a challenge! If you purchase it, I’d love to hear how you make out, and what you think of it. (I’d love to hear what you think of it, even if you don’t purchase the pattern:)
The hat is made with post stitches, mixed in with skipping stitches, and then going back to those stitches you skipped to crochet in them, creating a cross effect. Once you get the hang of how the pattern works, it does work up nice and quick.

Cute little hat. I've used post stitches often in hats for ribbing and it works well. The cross stitches I've used for texture in both afghans and scarves, it's a nice texture. Nice work
