Hookin’ Up: Day 8 – Chez Mukweto

I decided to take part in Kathryn’s Hookin’ Up Project this month!  For the month of July, we’re spreading the word about crochet blogs!  Someone described them as “Pay It Forward” posts, so that we can get to know some of the other crocheters that love to blog, and maybe find one or two new friends in the process.  Sounded like fun, so I decided to join in.
Today I get to actually introduce Jacqueline over at, Chez Mukweto.  As I read Jacqueline’s “Meet Mukweto” page, the very first thing I noticed was that we had something in common….other than crochet :).  She’s also a homeschooler, like me!  She desccribes herself like this, “a chef, lawyer, hair dresser, accountant, crafter, nurse, advisor, designer, teacher, barber, and more. Yup, its Motherhood“.  I think that about sums up us mothers perfectly.

And speaking of motherhood….she has the cutest crocheted ice pack.  I can’t wait to make one of these.  My girls will love it!

She has an etsy shop with items she has lovingly handmade.  That is one thing that is evident on her blog…..her love of crochet.  I think my favorite piece would have to be this scarf.  I love the color, especially combined with the puff stitches.  It looks amazingly soft and comfy.

She’s even renewed my love of the granny square.  I love her color combinations!

So, I encourage you to hop on over and visit Jacqueline.  She has so much more than crochet – including sewing, cooking, homeschooling, and more.  You will be pleasantly surprised.

Happy Crocheting!
