The Wanderer Sweater Crochet Pattern for Kids

The Wanderer Sweater Crochet Pattern 

 

The Wanderer Sweater pattern is made to be slightly oversized for running and playing, or even just cuddling inside and staying warm.

 

Materials List:

Finished Sizes: Fits 2/4, 6/8, 10/12, & 14/16

Finished Bust Circumference: After blocking. (model shown with approx. 8” ease)

  • 2/4 – 27” circumference, 12½” long
  • 6/8 – 30” circumference, 15½” long
  • 10/12 – 35” circumference, 18” long
  • 14/16 – 36¾” circumference, 19¼” long

Yarn: #5 bulky – Sample used: Red Heart Heads Up in Bright Green

  • 2/4 – 600 – 640 yds
  • 6/8 – 640 – 710 yds
  • 10/12 – 710 – 750 yds
  • 14/16 – 745 – 850 yds

Hook: Size L/11 (8.00 mm). Change hook size to get correct gauge if needed.

Notions: Yarn Needle

Difficulty: Advanced Beginner

 

If you’ve never made a sweater, try not to worry. The pattern was created in panels so there is minimal shaping. All you need to know is sc, dc, and the basics of how to increase and decrease.
