Welcome

My mother taught me to crochet when I was 5. I didn’t pick it up again until I was in my late 20’s. I’ve been hooked ever since! (no pun intended:)

About 3 years ago I started designing my own patterns. It was something I had thought about doing for a while. Meanwhile, a friend of mine had a preemie (she was 30 weeks pregnant). I wanted to make an baby blanket, but could not find a preemie pattern I liked. So I set out to make my own. This is what I came up with.

My very first design. Preemie basketweave afghan.

Some of my patterns are very basic, but I felt that was the best way for me to start – with something that was easy & familiar. I’ve since started to make things other than baby afghans (although they’re still my favorite).

The purpose of this blog will be for me to share the things I have made, my own patterns/creations. I will be listing some of my patterns for free and some may be for sale. Happy Crocheting!
