>Skill Evaluation and Learn to Mosaic Crochet giveaway
>The topic for this week’s 2nd Annual Knitting and Crochet Blog Week has really got me thinking. I was to look back over the last year and assess my skills, accomplishments, etc.
I only just started this blog a little over a year ago. My hopes and asperations were much higher than I had time for. My biggest disappointment (to myself) is that I have not kept up with my Stitch-of-the-Week. I was going to learn, and post about, a new crochet stitch every week for a year. I have done a few, but time got the better of me. One of the reasons it has taken a backseat is because, as most of you know I officially opened my own business. I’ve spent tons of time getting my pattern store up and running. Writing up, testing, and listing new patterns has taken most of my free time. It’s been well worth it, but I would like to find some balance for new growth as well.
So, I’m starting fresh. I’m going to try again to learn new stitches, but maybe with a little less pressure on myself. After all, this is supposed to be fun!
With all that being said, I’m going to do another giveaway for anyone who wants to Learn How to Mosaic Crochet. If you’d like to enter:
1) Be a fan of my blog (1 entry)
2) Follow me on facebook (1 entry)
Please leave 2 seperate comments if you’re entering 2 chances. Contest will end at midnight on March 31st.

>I'm a follower too!! In fact, the stitch of the week feature was what brought me to your blog as I was trying to learn to crochet last year. I very proudly gave my mother-in-law a dishcloth last year crocheted using one of your stitch of the week tutorials … she said it was a 'proper' dishcloth -high praise indeed!
>Already a fan. I definitely thing that it's great to set goals (like learning and sharing a stitch a week) but as you said it's supposed to be fun so you also have to be easy on yourself. Maybe a stitch a month? Or maybe five specific stitches that really interest you to be done before the end of the year? And if you end up doing more than yay for that!
>And I'm also a follower for entry #2 :)
>I'm a follower! This looks too neat! I'm always looking for new stitches to try out!
