W.I.P. Wednesday

I love “Wordless Wednesday” but have found that I’m always in the middle of something. Hence, Work In Progress Wednesday.

Here’s how it works:

Show off what you’re making. Post a photo of a project you’re in the middle of….as much or as little of it as you want. Crochet, knit, sewing, quilting, you name it. Add the link to your project (using the Mr.Linky tool). Feel free to copy & paste my “WIP” button to add to your entry or blog. It’s a fun way to let us know what you’re up to. I hope you’ll join in.

  • I love the basketweave crochet stitch! It makes such a plush finished project. I did a man’s scarf a few Christmases back out of almost the exact same colour of yarn. Very cool.

  • Hello Kristine,

Thanks so much for having a WIP Wednesday. I’ve been crocheting for about a month. Your site, along with others have been extremely helpful. Thank you! I read them via my RSS feed reader.

The first few weeks of crocheting, I made practice swatches with various stitches. My only regret was that I wasn’t able to make anyone crocheted gifts for Christmas; I was still in practice mode.

Last week, I started making crocheted items for people! I was confident enough with my crochet, to start making items for other. I’ve already made my daughter hats; slippers, and various items for her Monster High dolls. I made my father a hat too! He wears that whenever he goes outside. It’s very soft and warm.
