Tunisian Sampler Scarf CAL – Part 7

We had a few people interested in starting the CAL last week. Yay! I know, for myself, if a project is too far under way, I won’t jump on board, so I decided to give them a few days to catch up.

Today let’s try an openwork pattern. There are many different types of openwork patterns, so this is just one of many.

Section 7 – Openwork Pattern

Row 61:  skip 1st vertical bar, insert hook under next 2 vertical bars together (see fig.1), yo, pull up a loop (see fig.2), yo (see fig.3), * insert hook behind next 2 vertical bars, yo, pull up a loop, yo, repeat from * across, insert hook through both loops of last stitch. (see fig.4)

To complete row: yo, pull through 1st loop on hook, * yo, pull through 2 loops, repeat from * across until 1 loop remains.

Row 63 – 73:  Repeat Row 61 & 62, ending with row 61.

I really enjoyed this stitch once I got it going. It looks much better than I expected. What do you think?

Happy Crocheting!
