Crochet Cute Critters Book Review

Review: Whether it’s a puppy or a unicorn, almost all little kids love animals. Now you can make them their very own with these cute patterns from Sarah Zimmerman (Repeat Crafter Me).

Sarah did a great job making sure all your typical favorites are in here (everything from Dash the Dog to Uniqua the Unicorn). She’s also added some more out-of-the-box favorites like Sammy the Snail and Yolanda the Yak.

Tech Review: ***Because the focus of my blog is now more behind-the-scenes, pattern based I have decided to have my reviews come from that perspective. I love tech editing and want to start adding that perspective as well.***

All these critters use the same yarn, same size hook, and same size eyes & nose. This makes it SO convenient so you don’t have to buy a bag of eyes to only use 2, or a whole skein of yarn for 1 animal. It makes it super convenient and well worth the investment.

There are tons of graphics and photos for any stitch(es) you may be unfamiliar with, as well as placement of pieces (eyes, ears, tails, etc), which I think is super helpful.

.

Overall, Crochet Cute Critters is a great pattern book if you love animals. I’ve only shown you a few of my favorites. You can go to Amazon to see an overview of all the patterns included in the book. I’d love for you to come back and tell me which animal is your favorite.
