10 Days of Thanksgiving – Day 3

We’re on day 3 of our second annual “10 Days of Thanksgiving Crochet Event”. Today’s theme is “Throughout the Year”.

Each day we will be offering 4 different patterns (one from each of us) for only $1 each. You’ll be able to get all 4 of these fabulous patterns for only $4 total!

Here’s how it works. Each day we will have a theme. We’ll share a blog post and then we will each offer a pattern for $1 relating to the day’s theme.

10 DAYS OF THANKSGIVING

DAY 3 – THROUGHOUT THE YEAR

Day 3 of our 10 Days of Thanksgiving with our theme being “throughout the year”.

Today we’re thinking of things that can either be made all year long or things that you can take a full year to make (blankets, CAL, etc).

For me, I’ve decided to offer my Hope Whispers prayer shawl. Cancer and illness doesn’t know seasons or specific times of year. So a prayer shawl is the perfect project that you can make all year long.

The Hope Whispers shawl is part of the Hope Collection (which has been inspired by all those going through chemo or a life threatening illness, as well as their caregivers).

Hope Whispers has and easy 2 row repeat and then a beautiful border. Use self-striping yarn or leave it solid.

This pattern is suitable for the advanced beginners.

Finished Size is 56” wide X 34” tall (after blocking)

Materials:
#4 worsted weight yarn (550 yds)
I/9 (5.5 mm) hook
