Pattern Rating: Beginner
Finished Sizes: approx. 15” tall and 24″ circumference
Yarn: #5 bulky weight yarn – 7 oz./200 yds
Sample made with Loops & Threads Charisma in Lakeside
Crochet Hook: Size – L (8.00 mm)
Notions: Yarn Needle
Gauge: 9.5 sts and 8 rows = 4” in pattern
Notes: Cowl is made flat and seamed in last row.

SUNSET RIDGE SPLIT NECK COWL
Ch 39.
Row 1: Working in back ridge of beg ch, hdc in 2nd ch from hook, hdc in each ch across, turn. (38 hdc)
Row 2: Ch 1, sc blo in each st across, turn. (38 sc)
Row 3: Ch 1, hdc blo in each st across, turn. (38 hdc)
Row 4 – 41: Repeat Row 2 & 3, until scarf measures approx. 19.5”.
Row 42: Ch 1, holding last row and beg ch together (last row in front, beg ch row in back), [sl st in next st working through blo from row 41 & flo of beg ch tog] 20 times.
