Black Raspberry Baby Sweater Free Crochet Pattern
When I was a little girl, Black Raspberry ice cream was my favorite! Knowing this pattern was going to be part of the Ice Cream Social Collection, as well as the fact that it was a pale purple yarn, all I could think of was black raspberry ice cream…..and I haven’t had it in probably 35+ years!

PATTERN INFO
FINISHED SIZE: 0 – 6, 6 – 12 months
YARN: #3 DK/light worsted weight yarn
CROCHET HOOK: Size 7 (4.5 mm)
GAUGE: 16 dc = 4 inches
SPECIAL STITCHES
- Double crochet 2 together (dc2tog) – [yo, insert hook in next st, yo, pull uploop, yo, pull through 2 loops] 2 times, yo, pull through all 3 loops.
NOTES:
Sweater is worked from the neck down.
If you are unfamiliar with fsc, you can replace with beg ch and work ch 47 (53), sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across. Then continue with Row 1 of pattern.
Sleeves are worked in rounds that join as well as turn at the end of each round.

Attach with sl st in top corner of front panel, ch 32 (35).
Round 1: Sl st in 2nd ch from hook and each ch across, sl st to corner of sweater.
Fasten off. Repeat for other panel.
