“Caia” Beginner Tunisian Cardigan

The Caia Tunisian Cardigan was created as a beginner garment so that even if you’ve never made a garment and are new to Tunisian, you will be able to make this.

Caia means rejoice and that’s exactly what I felt like doing when I was asked to create this…..so the name fit. It was my first design idea of the new year and it was an amazing way to kick the year off.

It’s worked from the bottom up then split for the armholes and worked in panels. Once panels are made you will seam the shoulders and add the border to the collar and front panels, as well as the sleeves.
