Labyrinth Granny Square Free Crochet Pattern

The labyrinth is a maze that, well….amazes us when we see it. With it’s perfect and endless patterns we just stare. The Labyrinth Granny Square will hopefully have that same affect as you create your own pattern.

Using basic stitches and contrasting colors, the labyrinth granny will turn into it’s own patterned creation. Make one for a sampler blanket like the Friends with Granny CAL blanket, or make a single blanket by continuing the repeat rounds.

Notes:

  • Total square should be 8” across; if slightly off you can block square.
  • Fastening off after each round will make the color changes neater, but if you want you can carry the yarn up the back and change colors at the start of each new round.
  • MC is listed as the main color. CC is the contrast color.
  • Approx. 1 oz of each color will make 2 squares in opposite color combos.
  • You can continue to work in rounds and make this a blanket, if you choose.
