Water Bottle Cozy Free Crochet Pattern

One of my goals for January is to drink more water. So, I’ve created a water bottle cozy to keep my water cold and my hands dry. Hopefully this will put a fun spin on drinking water and will motivate me to get those ounces in!

Tip: They say you should drink half your body weight in water. So if you weight 100 lbs you should drink 50 oz water.

The Mango Water Bottle Cozy is the newest pattern in my Ice Cream Social Collection . . . . . I have a whole collection of patterns named after ice cream flavors! Quarantining life had me missing people and that’s how the Ice Cream Social Collection was born.

There is a list of patterns from the collection at the bottom of this post.

Notes:

  • Pattern can easily be adjusted for different size water bottles. Most water bottles I measured with fit base/circumference of this water bottle. You may just need to add/subtract rows for the height.
  • Cozy is meant to fit snug and will stretch slightly after the first couple uses.

Please note: Your cozy will have a more finished look if you stop of a dc round. Stop adding rounds right before neck of bottle starts to decrease in size. If you are using this for a 24 oz. water bottle you will need to add additional rows. Keep yarn requirements in mind.

Fasten off. Weave in ends.
