Mesh Headband – Free Crochet Pattern

This pattern works up quick, and is fairly easy providing you know how to do a treble (tr) crochet.  If not, don’t worry, there are instructions on how to do the stitch.

Finished Size:  Fits Child – Adult  

Materials: H Sugar ‘n Cream Cotton

• 1 skein – pink  
• Size “H” crochet hook
• Yarn Needle 

Gauge:  3 dc = 1 inch

Special Stitches – Treble stitch (tr) – yo 2 times, insert hook in space indicated, yo, pull up a loop, (yo, pull through 2 loops) 3 times.

Ch9,

Row 1:  slip stitch in 1^st ch from hook, ch5 (counts as 1^st tr plus ch1, now and throughout), skip next ch, tr in next ch, * ch1, skip next ch, tr in next ch, repeat from * across, turn.

Row 2:  ch5 (counts as 1^st tr plus ch1, now and throughout), skip next ch, tr in next ch, * ch1, skip next ch, tr in next ch, repeat from * across, turn.

Row 3 – 57:  Repeat Row 2.

Row 58:  ch4, slip stitch in 1^st ch from hook, ch1, skip next ch, tr in next ch, * ch1, skip next ch, tr in next ch, repeat from * across, turn.  Fasten off.
