Blaze Orange Hunting Beanie Free Crochet Pattern
Finished Size: One size fits most adults
Materials:
- 1 skein – Hobby Lobby “I Love This Yarn!” – Orange OR
- 2 skeins – Lion brand “FUN” – Orange
- Size “H” hook
- Yarn Needle
Gauge: 3.5 hdc = 1 inch
Pattern Notes: Hat can be made shorter, into a regular beanie, by crocheting approx. 23 rounds.
Abbreviations
ch – chain
sl st – slip stitch
sc – single crochet
hdc – half double crochet
hk – hook
yo – yarn over
Begin with magic ring,
Round 1: 9 hdc in 2nd ch from hook, slip stitch to top of beg ch, do not turn. (9 hdc)
Round 2: ch 1 (does not count as hdc throughout this pattern), 2hdc in each hdc around, slip stitch in top of 1st hdc. (18 hdc)
Round 3: ch 1, hdc in 1st hdc, 2hdc in next hdc, *hdc in next hdc, 2hdc in next hdc, repeat from * around, slip stitch to top of 1st hdc. (27 hdc)
Round 4: ch 1, hdc in 1st hdc, hdc in next hdc, 2hdc in next hdc, *hdc in next 2 hdc, 2hdc in next hdc, repeat from * around, slip stitch to top of 1st hdc. (36 hdc)
Round 5: ch 1, hdc in 1st 3 hdc, 2hdc in next hdc, *hdc in next 3 hdc, 2dc in next dc, repeat from * around, slip stitch to top of 1st hdc. (45 hdc)
Round 6: ch 1, hdc in 1st 4 hdc, 2hdc in next hdc, *hdc in next 4 hdc, 2dc in next dc, repeat from * around, slip stitch to top of 1st hdc. (54 hdc)

Does this orange color satisfy the requirement that the DNR has when hunting deer.
