About Me

I am a homeschooling mom to 6 great kids ranging from 31 to 13 years old – (1 boy & 5 girls).  The majority of my inspiration comes from my 5 daughters who have been supportive and encouraging on this crazy journey.

I began designing my own patterns in 2007 when a friend of mine had a baby 10 weeks premature.  I spent 2 weeks looking for a preemie blanket I liked, but couldn’t find what I was looking for.  So, instead I set out on a journey to create what I wanted.  I realized I loved designing and have never looked back.  If you have something in mind that you’d like created don’t hesitate to send me a message.  I’ll see what I can come up with.

  • Hi Kristine!
I loved your demonstration of Tunisian crochet today! And thanks so much for the free pattern! I haven’t tried it before so I’m really excited to try!
I do have a comment and question….First, the quality of your video was great! And I was wondering if you could tell me what you use for a camera, lighting and how you set up your camera to capture your demo and other tutorials? Thanks so much for your time and assistance.

    • Hi Christine! I just used my iphone and I a selfie light I got on amazon. I’ll leave a link below. I don’t know if I would use it a lot for regular videos but I think it works really well for crochet videos. It’s just enough light to make it bright.

  • Thank you Kristine for joining in the 30daysofcozy and also for your patterns here. I downloaded your Tunisian throw today. I am just learning how to do Tunisian crochet. I look forward to making it. The tt sst sounds pretty easy to do. I already know the tss. I’ll be looking at all your other patterns here and on Ravelry.
