When I first started creating my own patterns, my 3 year old was the child I made the most hats for. It was mainly because she was smaller, and cuter for pics :), and because she was willing. But, I think I’ve created a monster. At any point, on any given Friday, she’ll say to me, “Mommy, can you make me a hat to go with this? I want to wear it Sunday.” Thanks for the short notice! :)
So went the conversation on the Friday before Easter. A friend of mine made her a dress that she loved, and she decided she wanted to wear it to church on Sunday morning . . . with a hat to match. No pressure! I did finish it and she loved it, but I think I may make a couple of changes to the flower before trying to sell the pattern. What do you think? Do you like it?
I hope everyone had a blessed Easter. I know I have so much to be thankful for!
>I love it!!! If you need an editor/tester/proofer, would be happy to help out though. (references upon request…am trying to break into the editing biz)crescendogal@yahoo.com
>So cute … the model, the hat and the story!
>I like it..and you have the perfect model.
>I think it is adorable. Isn't it nice having little ones to make things for? They always love everything.
>No monster, just a beautiful little girl who likes to wear what you make! I think the hat is perfect and it goes quite well with the dress.
>The beanie is precious … of course, the beautiful little model makes it so too! How adorable with the dress. How sweet that your little one wants hats to match what she is wearing.
>The hat is super cute, as is your daughter & her dress!
>This is already very cute! I love this!
>too cute!
>I think its darling just the way it is. Matches great!
