Easy Crochet Blanket Pattern {Free}

This beginner-friendly throw has a simple texture and a one row repeat.

A few years ago I made one of my daughters (who was always cold) the Vineyard Throw. Not only did it keep her warm but she started to sleep better at night.

What I realized was that weighted blankets are a real thing. I personally can’t use them because I’m always hot (and wake up with headaches when I’m hot), but it worked so well for her!

The Oasis Throw is warm and made with super bulky yarn, so this one can also be used as a weighted throw.

It has a one row repeat so it works up fast and is great for beginners or anyone just looking for a quick, easy crochet blanket.

  • To change blanket size, adjust beginning chain using any number of sts.
