Plumeria Washcloth – Free Crochet Pattern

MATERIALS
Finished Sizes: 7″ x 7″
Yarn: #3 DK weight cotton – 1 oz/80 yds
- Sample used: Katia Seacell Cotton in Light Rust
Crochet Hook: Size G (4 mm)
Notions: Yarn Needle
Gauge: 6 reps x 12 rows = 4” in pattern
Difficulty: Beginner: Uses beginner stitches with no shaping.
Abbreviations:
ch – chain
rep – repeat
sl st – slip stitch
sc – single crochet
yo – yarn over

Notes:
- One ball of Seacell Cotton is enough to make 1 washcloth (2 balls will make 3 washcloths).
- Easy 1 row repeat once pattern is set up.
- Ch 1 at the beg of the row does not count as a st.
- To change the size, work the beg chain in multiples of 4+3.

Ch 39.
Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook, sk next ch, *2 sc in next ch, ch 2, 2 sc in next ch, sk next 2 ch; rep from * across to last 2 ch, sk next ch, sc in last ch, turn. (9 ch-2 sps, 20 sc)
Row 2: Ch 1, sc in 1st sc, *(2 sc, ch 2, 2 sc) in next ch-2 sp; rep from * across, sc in last sc, turn.
Rows 3 – 21 (or until square): Repeat Row 2.
Border
Round 1: Sc in evenly around, work 3 sc in each corner st.
Fasten off.
