Make the Mini Granny Square Coaster – Free Crochet Pattern
This crochet pattern features a mini granny squares, each one with a small burst of color which makes it perfect for using up yarn scraps. The squares are worked individually and then sewn together to form a beautiful, patchwork-style piece.

The Inspiration Behind the Design
This design was born from the desire to give single skeins or scraps of leftover yarn a second life.
Each mini granny square becomes a tiny burst of color, turning what might have been forgotten bits into something beautiful and functional.
By sewing these little treasures together, you create a patchwork full of personality and memories—each square can use its own color combo, or make them all the same.
It’s a creative, eco-friendly way to clear out your yarn stash while making something truly one-of-a-kind.
