Ancora Preemie Blanket Free Crochet Pattern
Preemies have a special place in my heart and I love the opportunity to bless a new mom with a blanket to wrap her extra little one in to help both of them feel comforted. The Ancora Preemie blanket pattern was designed to only use one skein of yarn, so it’s cost effective and still perfect for a new little one.

Happy Crocheting!
Thank you so much! This is perfect and exactly what i was looking for to donate to the nicu an acquaintance works at.
I’m sure they will love the blankets.
Hi I was just reading through the preemie blanket Pattern and I think there might be a typo?? On row on you have us start with hdc the go to dc. Then in row 2 you have us using the hdc .
Is the first row supposed to be all hdc?? Also on the second row you have us start with a sc.
Help
Odd rows are all hdc’s and even rows are sc and ch-sps.
This pattern does not work out
Can you tell me where you’re stuck so that I can try to help you?
What would be the multiples if you wanted to make it larger like a throw size?
It would be multiples of 2 + 1.
I too am struggling.. where does the special stitch come in?
I also have a lot more space(holes) than you have in your blanket.
The special stitch is used on the border.
As far as the spaces, maybe your gauge is looser than mine? If your blanket is a lot wider than mine then that would be the reason.
