Make the Peacock Vines Throw with Crochet Cables
Looking to add rich texture and a touch of elegance to your next crochet project? Say hello to your new favorite pattern. This crochet cables throw combines cozy warmth with the kind of eye-catching detail that makes people ask, “Wait… you made that?!”
Crochet cables are created using front post stitches to build raised, twisted designs that mimic the look of knit cables—sort of….as best we could with a crochet hook! The result is a blanket that is full of dimension and a stunning design!
Whether you’re curled up on the couch or gifting it to someone special, this pattern brings that “handmade but high-end” vibe. And don’t worry if you’ve never tried cables before—I’ll do my best to guide you through it, step by step.
Ready to add a little textured beauty to your hook? Let’s get started!
