Capture the Wonder of Autumn with New England’s Fall Foliage Crochet Pattern
Inspired by the breathtaking fall foliage of New England, this crochet pattern captures the beauty of autumn with it’s stitched leaves scattered throughout. Each leaf reflects the vibrant reds, oranges, and golds that cover the New England region in the fall, bringing a touch of seasonal warmth into your home. Whether draped over your couch or wrapped around your shoulders on a crisp evening, this blanket is a cozy tribute to nature’s most colorful show.
The Inspiration Behind the Design
I have lived in New England my whole life……
And one of the things that I love the most about New England is the amazing fall foliage!
Because of the drastic temperature differences when the seasons change, the colors are more vibrant and stunning than anywhere else (or at least that’s what I’ve always been told).
So, when I was approached by Christine from Spotted Horse Design Co and Debbie from MadameStitch to be a part of a CAL collab that was themed around places and locations, I knew I wanted my design to be worked around our fall foliage.
I designed my strip, and then ended up creating an entire blanket pattern around the design.

Happy Crocheting!
Thank you Kristine!! I love this pattern!! 5-6 yrs ago I made an Attic 24 Neat Ripple afghan for my couch using these same colors because I love everything Fall. I can’t wait to try your pattern for an additional Fall afghan!
Yes, the colors are sooo amazing! I’d love to see it when you are done.
I’m making mine now and I love it! The only downfall is how hard it is to get the hook through all 21 loops of that leaf stitch!!
Yes, it’s awkward, but so worth it when you see the blanket!
