St. Patrick’s Day Square – Free Crochet Pattern

Get the free c2c leprechaun hat square as part of the Holiday Collections Blanket.

March is about sharmocks and leprechauns, and maybe even a Guinness with your corn beef and cabbage.

Our c2c square for March is a fun leprechaun hat. It uses only 4 colors green and white, with black and gold/yellow for the buckle on the hat.

It’s the March square for the Holiday Celebrations Blanket. The blanket is 12 monthly squares that will each celebrate one of the 12 months. Some will be holiday squares, some will celebrate other things such as the seasons. At the end of the year you’ll have a finished blanket!

If you’d like all the squares ahead of time and not wait for each month’s release, the bundle is available below.

HOLIDAY CELEBRATIONS BLANKET

The Holiday Celebrations Blanket will be 12 months of patterns – one releasing each month, plus 6 bonuses if you’d like to swap one out for something else.

OR

You will have the option to purchase the bundle at a discount so you can make them at your own pace and not have to worry about coming back each month for the new pattern of the month.

Why holiday squares?

My 14 (almost 15) year old daughter wanted to crochet one of my c2c squares. That led into an entire conversation of her asking if she could make “a bunch of squares” for me and make them into a blanket for herself. Why, yes you can!

So we talked for a while and came up with a plan for a whole blanket circling around the holidays and what we celebrate each month.

March showcases a St. Patrick’s Day.

Let’s show March some love! Choose your own colors or work it in the colors we used.

If you’d like to see all the squares from the blanket, you can see the Holiday Celebrations Blanket HERE.

  • Hi,

How do we find April square as I’ve had the link for the April bonus square but can’t find for April itself.

I have signed up for the emails newsletter several times but I’m not getting the links if they are in order.

If you can post the link to get directly to the CAL information, that would be a great help as that would be updated hopefully.

    Thank you.

    • I had to post the bonus square first because my daughter wasn’t finished with the regular April one. April’s square will be released tomorrow. :)

  • She’s only 14? Wow. That’s awesome. She is very good. The squares are beautiful. Thank you for sharing💜💜💜
