Review
Mermaid and shark tails have been huge the past year or two! These blankets that Christine designed are a more practical version of their counterpart. I’m all about things that will get a lot of use, so these are great for kids beds.
Made with basic crochet stitches, these blankets are all rated easy. If you’re familiar with sc, hdc, and chain stitches you’ll be able to make these. And if you’re not familiar with this crochet technique, there are both written instuctions and a graph.
The book also includes all your general pattern info (gauge, terms, abbreviations), photo tutorial for the border, as well as exactly which yarns were used for each project, so you can match it exactly if you choose to.
Annie’s Attic has offered to give one of my readers a copy of the Tails of the Sea book. (Winner will receive an ebook.)
