Learn How to Crochet HDC2tog in Rows

Sometimes you can take a regular stitch and make it into something different. For this strip I took a hdc2tog, which is a decrease stitch, and then worked it into hdc2tog in rows. By adding a stitch back in after each decrease you don’t reduce the stitch count and can use it in a regular pattern.

As part of the Adventure Blanket CAL, this tutorial will teach you how to work hdc2tog in rows to create a soft blanket that drapes nicely. This tutorial includes both written instructions as well as a video tutorial.

What is the Adventure Blanket?

Think of the choose-your-own-adventure books!

When we were brainstorming for a good theme for our CAL, I asked Helen what she thought of using that concept to create something as unique as each crocheter is.

We hashed out a lot of details and have a fun and amazing blanket for you to create.
