It’s that time of year again where I review my top 10 crochet patterns to see which ones you loved the most. I so excited and can’t wait to share them with you!
There were some big surprises this year! And then there were some that have become staples in my shops and they get so much love every year (which makes me sooo happy)!
This list has become something that I love doing. And as I reflect back on the year, and even years past, I use your favorites to help me figure out just what kinds of patterns I can make for you in the future that you will love.
It has become very evident to me that so much of my community LOVES blankets. The last few years I have noticed that almost the entire list is blankets.
So, as I focus on more blanket patterns and tips that will help you make them, I’ve decided to make this the Top 10 Blanket Patterns of 2022 and make it a yearly list.
But I did have a couple other patterns that were very popular and I didn’t want to leave them out, so they’ve come in as bonus patterns.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW….
- Every morning (8am est), from Dec 27th-January 8th, I will update this post with the next pattern in my top 10 (or 3 bonus) pattern list.
- Dec 27th-Dec 29th will be the 3 bonus patterns (that are not blankets).

The Book Nook throw is my best selling Tunisian pattern! If you’re wanting to learn Tunisian or just make somthing comfy this is a great pattern.

It totally blew me away that the Marshmallow Sky made this list – never mind that it made it to #7. But not because of the design. It was only released in October and it earned the Etsy best seller badge in like its first 3 weeks! So, thank you for ALL the love on this one!

#6 – PEMBERLEY HEIRLOOM BABY BLANKET
The Pemberley Heirloom baby blanket has been in my top 10 since I released it in 2017, and even though it’s a favorite of mine, I’m always blown away by all the love it receives.

#5 – SERENITY BLANKET
The Serenity Blanket was part of the Serenity Collection. A collection aimed at bringing us peace in the midst of the pandemic and any other trials that you may be facing. I’m so glad that it has fulfilled it’s purpose.

#4 – SAND & SEA BABY BLANKET
The Sand & Sea Baby Blanket is a great blanket for beginners – and you can easily adjust it to any size!
It’s the 2nd blanket from my Beach Getaway Collection to make it into the top 10!

#3 – FLAGSTONE BLANKET
The Flagstone Blanket quickly became a best seller just a couple weeks after it’s release back in Sept. I am SO excited that it made it to the top 3! This is the first time I’ve had a new pattern in my top 3 in four years!!!
#2 – AMERICAN FLAG BLANKET
I’m so happy to see my American Flag crochet pattern make it to the top 3 of the list every year. I put my heart and soul into this design (approx 40 hours so it would be proportionately correct to an actual American Flag). If this is the first time you’re seeing it, here’s a little glimpse into the design.
- The star field is proportionately correct to the stripes.
- Stars are worked directly into the pattern so there is no need to sew on 50 stars (or 100 to make it double sided).
- Stripes look like a solid fabric. There are no holes between stitches, and you won’t have to use single crochet.
#1 – DREAM WEAVER BABY BLANKET
My most popular pattern was the Dream Weaver baby blanket! Thank you for always making this a best seller (it’s been in the top 3 for the last four years!)
