Tunisian Sampler Scarf CAL – Part 11
The tunisian honeycomb stitch is a combination of TSS & TPS stitches alternatively worked across the row.
Section 11 – Honeycomb Stitch
TSS = insert hook behind next vertical bar, yo, pull up a loop (section 1 of scarf)
TPS = move yarn in front of hook, insert hook behind next vertical bar, move yarn to back of hook, yo, pull up a loop (section 2 of scarf)
Row 115: skip 1st two vertical bars, * TSS in next st, TPS in next st, repeat from * across, insert hook through both loops of last stitch (see fig.1). (20 loops on hook)
To complete row: yo, pull through 1st loop on hook, * yo, pull through 2 loops, repeat from * across until 1 loop remains.
Row 116: skip 1st vertical bar, * TPS in TSS of previous row, TSS in TPS of previous row, repeat from * across, insert hook through both loops of last stitch. (20 loops on hook)
To complete row: yo, pull through 1st loop on hook, * yo, pull through 2 loops, repeat from * across until 1 loop remains.
Row 117: skip 1st vertical bar, * TSS in TPS of previous row, TPS in TSS of previous row, repeat from * across, insert hook through both loops of last stitch. (20 loops on hook)
To complete row: yo, pull through 1st loop on hook, * yo, pull through 2 loops, repeat from * across until 1 loop remains.
