Laughing Face Crochet Pattern {Free}
Get the free, corner to corner, Laughing Face crochet pattern in honor of National Humor Month. It also makes a great addition to they Holiday Celebrations Blanket.
When I found out April is National Humor Month, I decided I need to add just one more bonus square to the Holiday Celebations Blanket. So now you will have your choice of the Easter crosses square, the tulips bonus square, and this laughing face. So many options….
If you haven’t see the Holiday Celebrations Blanket yet, it’s 12 monthly squares – one to celebrate each of the 12 months. Some will be holiday squares, some will celebrate other things such as the seasons. At the end of the year you’ll have a finished blanket!

HOLIDAY CELEBRATIONS BLANKET
The Holiday Celebrations Blanket will be 12 months of patterns – one releasing each month, plus 7 bonuses if you’d like to swap one out for something else.

You will have the option to purchase the bundle at a discount so you can make them at your own pace and not have to worry about coming back each month for the new pattern of the month.
Why holiday squares?
My 14 (almost 15) year old daughter wanted to crochet one of my c2c squares. That led into an entire conversation of her asking if she could make “a bunch of squares” for me and make them into a blanket for herself. Why, yes you can!
So we talked for a while and came up with a plan for a whole blanket circling around the holidays and what we celebrate each month.
April is National Humor Month, so this is an additional bonus square for April.
Let’s show April some love! Choose your own colors or work it in the colors we used.

APRIL BONUS – LAUGHING FACE
Finished Size: 25 squares x 25 squares
Yarn: #4 worsted weight
- White (W) – 2 oz/116 yds
- Black (B) – 1 oz/52 yds
- Yellow (Y) – 3.5 oz/182 yds
- Blue (Bl) – scraps/approx 3 yds
Hook Size: Size H/8 (5.0 mm)

Notes:
- Skipped 2 chs at beg of each row counts as 1st hdc throughout pattern, unless otherwise noted.
- C2C instructions are written separately from color changes. If you don’t need the c2c instructions you can skip to the color change written pattern or graph.
- There is no right side or wrong side to the square. Whichever side you like better is the side to use.
