Top 10 Blanket Patterns of 2025 + Bonuses
Start the new year by taking a look back at my most-loved crochet blanket patterns from 2025!
I always look forward to this yearly tradition. It’s so much fun to review the designs I’ve released and see which ones became your favorites. Some patterns continue to hold their well-earned spot on the list year after year, while others make a surprising debut — and I love discovering both!
Putting this list together has become something really special to me. I love reflecting on your top picks. It helps me decide what kinds of cozy, beautiful blankets I can create for you in the future. I can’t wait to show you what’s coming next! I have some exciting patterns that are just about ready.
A few years ago my top 10 list started consisting of all blanket patterns. That’s when it became obvious to me that blankets would become my focus.
So, the past few years my focus has been on creating blanket patterns that you will love.
In 2026 my goal is to bring you more stitch tutorials to go along with my blankets, as well as tips that will help you succeed in making them.
Although my list has become top 10 blankets, I do add my top 3 patterns that were very popular and sell just as well as my blanket patterns. I don’t want to leave them out, so they come in as bonus patterns.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW….
- Every morning (approx 8am est), from Dec 28th-January 9th, I will update this post with the next pattern in my top 10 (or 3 bonus) pattern list.
- Dec 28th-Dec 30th will be the 3 bonus patterns (Top 3 patterns that are not blankets).
- Dec 31st-January 9th, my top 10 blankets will be announced and on sale.
- Each design will be available on sale for the duration of the Top 10 list release (all sales will end Jan 10th @ midnight est).
- Patterns will be on sale in both my Etsy & Ravelry shops. No coupon code will be needed so you don’t have to worry about forgetting to add it. On Ravelry you will need to start the checkout process for the discount to apply.
- Unfortunately Ravelry won’t apply the discount to multiple patterns, so if you’re going back to a previous day you will need to checkout with each pattern individually. I apologize you can’t do it all together.

#3 – AMERICAN FLAG BLANKET
I am so happy that my American Flag Blanket has made my top 10 list every year since its release!! The blanket was designed to be proportionately correct to the schematics of a true American flag and is approximately the size of a full size bed. The stars are crocheted right into the star field.

#2 – JACKSON BLANKET
The Jackson Blanket is brand new to my list this year and climbed all the way to #2!!! It was released last Dec and you have all shown it sooo much love. This pattern mixes basic stitches together to create visual effect that looks nothing like a “beginner” pattern.
