Emerald Isle Ruana Crochet Pattern
The Emerald Isle Ruana crochet pattern is reminiscent of Irish cables on those gorgeous Irish sweaters. It will have you feeling like you’re on a vacation to the emerald isle. And, it’s a blanket wrap, so you won’t need a coat. Just wrap your blanket over your shoulders, grab you keys, and go.
The crochet cables make this pattern good for an intermediate crocheter, but an adventurous advanced beginner could give it a try.
The Design Inspiration
The original design idea was from the Emerald Isle Blanket (currently only sold through the Crochet Capsule Festive Nights Collection until Jan 2024).
But I wanted to do something else with cables. I’m of Irish descent and love the history behind cables, so I’ve decided to create an entire Emerald Isle Collection.
The Emerald Isle Ruana is the 2nd pattern in that collection.
